The Big North Conference in its fourth year of existence had an incredibly successful fall season in 2013. In nine fall sport offerings, Big North Conference teams were ranked #1 in New Jersey in three sports and #2 in two others. St. Joseph’s was ranked #1 for Football, Northern Highlands #1 for Girls Soccer and IHA #1 in Girls Volleyball. The Conference placed teams in every sport and were most dominant in Girls Volleyball with six teams ranked and Football with five teams ranked including the top four spots in that sport. In both of the those sports Big North schools claimed the #1 ranking. Girls Soccer was the other sport to have a Conference member ranked #1 in the state. Northern Highlands had an amazing five teams ranked in the Top 20 in New Jersey in their respective fall sports. For a listing of all the state ranked teams from the Big North Conference this past fall season please see below;

Girls Tennis – #11 Ramapo, #16 Northern Highlands, #17 Holy Angels
