Freshman Robert McHugh led Wayne Hills to the Big North Independence Division golf title today and won individual honors with a 3-under 67 at Preakness Valley GC in Wayne.
Junior Kyle Contreras guided Bergen Tech to the Liberty Division crown and won individual honors with a 68 on an East Course that played 5,750 yards from the white tees.
Wayne Hills won the Independence with a shoot-five, count-four score of 300 that was 12 strokes better than archrival Wayne Valley.
Bergen Tech won the Liberty with 312 and finished 50 strokes ahead of runner-up Passaic Tech.
