Hello everyone! Here are this week’s power rankings. Not a whole lot of movement after a relatively quiet week, but with Penn Relays going on and league meets next week, there’s a lot of action (and probably change) coming.

 GIRLS

1. Northern Highlands — Catherine Pagano moved Northern Highlands up eight places in the distance medley with her brilliant 1600 split at the Penn Relays.

2. River Dell – They’ve had good competition with Ramsey so far, and should continue to at the Big North Patriot meet.

3. Holy Angels – The United division is always a treat, and Holy Angels is the favorite to come out on top…

4. IHA — …but Holy Angels won’t finish first if IHA has something to say about it.

5. Demarest – The Norsemen should cruise in the National division.

6. Paramus Catholic – PC’s jumpers have been absolutely tremendous this season.

7. Cresskill – Cresskill’s consistency has been impressive this season and they will expect to add an NJIC Patriot title.

8. Old Tappan — Old Tappan is well suited to perform at the league meet considering how they did in the county meet.

9. Ramapo – Spearheaded by their 4×800 relay team, the Raiders are confident they can fare well in meets favoring individual performance.

10. Ridgewood — Ridgewood is always confident and considering their early season performances they should have no problem finishing near or at the top at the Freedom division meet.
