We’re about to get slammed by the first snowstorm of 2015, but Pascack Hills athletic director Phil Paspalas hasn’t been staring out the window, lamenting his snow-shoveling fate.
He’s been working the phones, making sure there is a schedule in place in case the snowstorm wrecks the original plans for the Big North Conference divisional swim meets.
This is the original schedule:
Tuesday, Jan. 27 — Big North United Division, 5 p.m. at Hackensack.  Tuesday, Jan. 27 — Big North Liberty Division, 5 p.m. at Passaic Tech.  Wednesday, Jan. 28 — Big North Freedom Division, 5 p.m. at Hackensack.  Thursday, Jan. 29 — Big North Patriot Division girls, 5 p.m. at Hackensack.  Friday, Jan. 30 — Big North Patriot Division boys, 5 p.m. at Hackensack.
If snow wipes out swimming on Tuesday, here is the schedule which Paspalas has worked out, in conjunction with the good people at Hackensack and Passaic Tech:
Wednesday, Jan. 28 — Freedom Division, 5 p.m. at Hackensack.  Thursday, Jan. 29 — Patriot Division, boys and girls, 5 p.m. at Hackensack.  Friday, Jan. 30 — United Division, 5 p.m. at Hackensack.  Saturday, Jan. 31 — Liberty Division, 9 a.m. at Passaic Tech.
If snow also wipes out Wednesday’s action, this is the schedule:
Thursday, Jan. 29 — Patriot Division, boys and girls, 5 p.m. at Hackensack.  Friday, Jan. 30 — United Division, 5 p.m. at Hackensack.  Saturday, Jan. 31 — Liberty Division, 9 a.m. at Passaic Tech.  Saturday, Jan. 31 — Freedom Division 9 a.m. at Hackensack.
