St. Joseph’s John Greeley signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his career at George Washington on Wednesday.

The Stony Point, N.Y. native starred as a second basemen for the Green Knights last spring — particularly in St. Joe’s 4-0 sectional final victory over Bergen Catholic — and earned first-team all-league in the Big North United division.

Though a stellar middle infielder, Greeley was recruited by George Washington as a pitcher. He was part of St. Joseph’s 24-6-1 squad last spring, helping the Knights reach the Non-Public A state title game.
