Northern Highlands won the NJSIAA Shop Rite Cup for Group III schools for the 2013-2014 school year. Northern Highlands accumulated 73 points which was 7 points more than Summit which finished in second place with 66 points. The Shop Rite Cup is awarded to the school that accumulates the most championships in the NJSIAA sponsored sports through the school year. Additional points are given for sportsmanship and Northern Highlands was disqualification free for the year. Northern Highlands had the following sports score points toward the Shop Rite Cup this past school year; 1st in Girls Soccer, 2nd in Girls Volleyball, Tied for 3rd in Field Hockey, Tied for 3rd in North I Group IV Football, Tied for 3rd in Girls Basketball, 2nd in Boys Tennis, 2nd in Girls Spring Track, Tied for 3rd in Boys Lacrosse. Congratulations to the Highlanders.
